CAUTION
Nizonide 500mg Tablet should be used with caution during lactation. Breast feeding should be held until the treatment of the mother is completed and the drug is eliminated from her body.If you are taking Nizonide 500mg Tablet, monitor the baby for diarrhea.
Nizonide 500mg Tablet may make you feel dizzy, sleepy, tired, or decrease alertness. If this happens, do not drive.
There is limited information available on the use of Nizonide 500mg Tablet in patients with kidney disease. Please consult your doctor.

How to use Nizonide Tablet
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Nizonide 500mg Tablet is to be taken with food.
How Nizonide Tablet works
Nitazoxanide belongs to the class of medications called antiparasitic and antiviral agents. It inhibits the production of certain chemicals and substances essential for energy metabolism and growth of the parasite.
